Welcome to Central Ohio Art Education Association (COAEA)! We are currently over 181 members strong and growing.
If you are working in the visual arts… whether teaching in a K-12 environment or at the college level, studying to become a future educator, or working in one of the region’s countless museums or galleries…than you have a home with Central OAEA!

As Central OAEA, we strive to provide opportunities for networking and professional growth, as well as resources for art educators to ensure that every student in Central Ohio receives a high quality arts education. Central OAEA at the Columbus Arts Festival
Central OAEA members have been working with families at the Columbus Arts Festival the past several summers in an effort to engage with the local community about the importance of a quality arts education…and have fun!
