About East
On July 31, 2018 East Central Region and East Region joined together to become East. “The New East” OAEA region is made up of Stark, Columbiana, Holmes, Wayne, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Coshocton, Harrison, Jefferson, Guernsey, Muskingum, Noble, Monroe, and Belmont counties. Our membership is currently at 85 members and continues to grow. Our mission is to provide support, networking opportunities, and resources to art teachers to ensure every student receives a quality art education. From workshops and museum tours to teacher mixers and get-togethers, the focus is always on infusing new and powerful ideas into our everyday teaching and learning. |
