Why Market with OAEA?

The Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA) is the leading professional membership organization exclusively for visual arts educators in Ohio. Members include elementary, middle, and high school visual arts educators; college and university professors; researchers and scholars; teaching artists; administrators and supervisors; and art museum educators. OAEA’s mission is to build a community for visual art educators by promoting professional growth and leadership. 

Our OAEA annual conference is the largest, most comprehensive professional development opportunity in the state.  ​The conference rotates around the state between Columbus area, Cleveland area, Cincinnati area, Toledo area, and Dayton area. Our attendees tell us each year how much they appreciate seeing and testing products in person in the Exhibit Hall. As a vendor, you will make this personal connection with hundreds of prospective customers. The 2021 OAEA annual in-person conference will be held in Greater Cincinnati November 4-6, 2021! 

What products and services are attendees looking for when they visit your conference booth? Attendees love to discover new products, concepts, and techniques intended for all skill levels and ages. They are looking for materials, ideas, and services ranging from classic art supplies to up-to-the-minute media, technology, processes, professional development opportunities; curriculum resources; college and university programs; visual aids; painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, woodworking, ceramic, glass, and metal arts supplies; art-related travel; graphic design, technology, photography and drafting supplies; and more!   In-person conference booth rental allows you to connect with attendees through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

There are a variety of ways to participate in marketing with us throughout the year (even if you cannot attend the November conference). Advertising in our magazine ARTline, on our website, e-mail, and social media allows you to target our full membership across the state of more than 1100 art educators. Regular Price: $300
Option A:
  • This package includes a virtual space in the conference app with a photo of your organization, logo, and link.
  • You will also need to include a pre-recorded video of your workshop, lesson plan, demonstration, etc. by August 1. Guidelines will be provided. 
  • Your logo will be added to our conference marketing page.   
Option B:
  • This option includes 8’X10’ single draped booth space at the conference. Your company name and contact info will also be listed in the conference booklet. 
  • An interactive activity is required at your booth that may include portfolio review, application process, earning PDU, or another fun activity.

  • Optional; include a photo of your organization to be used for marketing materials

A La Carte Menu
  • Conference Booth ($475)
  • ​Website Ad- Includes link to your business website. For three months ($200) or one year ($700)
  • Conference Booklet ad- Full Page ($200), ½ Page Ad ($150), ¼ Page Ad ($75)
  • Conference tote bag ad. 500 copies. No catalogs. ($100)
  • ARTline Magazine Ad- One Year Package is three issues ($600 Full Page)($450 ½ page)($225 ¼ page)
    • Deadlines are July 1 for Fall Issue, December 1 for Winter Issue, and April 1 for Spring/Summer Issue
  • Ad sent to all members via email and social media in a digital flyer-  ($200/each month)
    • This flyer would include ads submitted by all vendors for that month.
    • Flyer will not be published in November.
    • Ad must be submitted by the first of the month.
    • The flyer will be published on the 15th of the month 
  • In Person Workshop at the Conference ($150)
  • Affiliate Membership ($100) Created for institutions and non-profit organizations directly or indirectly involved in art education (such as visual art organizations, museums, arts councils and arts centers).
  • ​Member Benefits : Free promotional space on OAEA website (includes logo and link to affiliate website). Receive a 10% discount on the cost of a commercial exhibit booth at OAEA conference. Receive a 10% discount on the cost of an ad in the OAEA conference program. Receive a 10% advertising discount in ARTline.
Discounts for Packages
  • $250 - $300 off depending on the size of your ads with a single booth and purchase of an Affiliate Membership (Cost $100) This membership is created for institutions and non-profit organizations directly or indirectly involved in art education (such as visual art organizations, museums, arts councils and arts centers).
    Member Benefits : Free promotional space on OAEA website (includes logo and link to affiliate website). Receive a 10% discount on the cost of a commercial exhibit booth at OAEA conference. Receive a 10% discount on the cost of an ad in the OAEA conference program. Receive a 10% advertising discount in ARTline.
  • $150 off to teach a 50 minute, hands-on, in person workshop. This is promoted in our conference booklet schedule with all of the other workshops. 
  • $100 off for purchase of additional booth to go with a bundled package 
  • $50 off if you provide a 10% or larger coupon for OAEA members for savings from your stores & brands with promo codes, printable coupons, cash back offers & online deals.
  • $50 off provide 3 items to raffle off ($15 value each or larger) or $50 or larger gift certificate to give away during conference 1:30–2:00 pm on Thursday, November 4th (Dessert will be served to vendors and OAEA members who are looking for “Sweet Deals” in the Exhibition Hall.) ​
*Nonprofits must provide proof to get discounts on packages.
