Why Market with OAEA?

The Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA) is the leading professional membership organization exclusively for visual arts educators in Ohio. Members include elementary, middle, and high school visual arts educators; college and university professors; researchers and scholars; teaching artists; administrators and supervisors; and art museum educators. OAEA’s mission is to build a community for visual art educators by promoting professional growth and leadership. 

Our OAEA annual conference is the largest, most comprehensive professional development opportunity in the state.  ​The conference rotates around the state between Columbus area, Cleveland area, Cincinnati area, Toledo area, and Dayton area. Our attendees tell us each year how much they appreciate seeing and testing products in person in the Exhibit Hall. As a vendor, you will make this personal connection with hundreds of prospective customers. The 2022 OAEA annual in-person conference will be held in Dayton, Ohio from November 10 to 11! 

What products and services are attendees looking for when they visit your conference booth? Attendees love to discover new products, concepts, and techniques intended for all skill levels and ages. They are looking for materials, ideas, and services ranging from classic art supplies to up-to-the-minute media, technology, processes, professional development opportunities; curriculum resources; college and university programs; visual aids; painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, woodworking, ceramic, glass, and metal arts supplies; art-related travel; graphic design, technology, photography and drafting supplies; and more!   In-person conference booth rental allows you to connect with attendees through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

There are a variety of ways to participate in marketing with us throughout the year (even if you cannot attend the November conference). Advertising in our magazine ARTline, on our website, e-mail, and social media allows you to target our full membership across the state of more than 1100 art educators. Visit our website at OAEA Marketing for opportunities including advertising in our ARTline newsletter (published three times a year), advertising on our OAEA website, advertising in our conference program and/or in our conference materials tote bag.

  • Two (50 minute) in-person workshops at the conference in a classroom space ($150). Workshops will be promoted in our conference booklet schedule with all workshops. Your two workshops can be back-to-back.
  • One promotional or instructional video (10-30 minutes) to be linked to our conference website for "virtual" participants.
  • Full page conference booklet ad ($200)
  • Hard copy ad, flier, coupon/discount, swag, samples in tote bags for every conference attendee ($100)
  • Your logo will be added to our conference marketing web page. 
  • Three full page ads in our ARTline magazine, Fall 2022 (pre-conference), Winter 2023, Spring 2023 ($600)

Option A:

Option B:
  • This option includes a single table space for swag at the conference in the main traffic and lobby area with other institutions, scheduled for four hours on the same day as the Secondary Division meeting. The Secondary Division meeting is Friday at 9:00 am in the Radisson (Harding Room). You will be set up in the hallway outside of the Harding Room from 8am-12:00
  • Be part of the Round Table discussion on Friday in the RAD Ballroom A (round tables) 2:00-3:30 pm! This is a great place for you to present information with small groups on a topic of your choice. Participants change tables every 10-15 minutes. . 
  • 1/4 page conference booklet ad ($75)
  • Three 1/4 page ads in our ARTline magazine, Fall 2022 (pre-conference), Winter 2023, Spring 2023 ($225)

A La Carte Menu
  • ​Conference Table - includes a single skirted table space for showcasing products, holding raffles or giveaways, Q&A, swag, etc. for one day of conference in the main traffic and lobby area. Set up would start at 8:00 am both days (November 10th and 11th).  Tables are “open” from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. ($ 150 per day)
  • ​Website Ad - Includes link to your business website. For three months ($200) or one year ($700)
  • Conference Booklet Ad - Full Page ($200), ½ Page Ad ($150), ¼ Page Ad ($75)
  • Conference Tote Bag Ad - 500 copies. No catalogs. ($100)
  • ARTline Magazine Ad - One Year Package is three issues ($600 Full Page / $450 ½ page / $225 ¼ page)
    • Deadlines are July 8 for Fall Issue, December 1 for Winter Issue, and April 1 for Spring/Summer Issue
  • Ad sent to all members via email and social media in a digital flyer ($200/each month)
    • This flyer would include ads submitted by all vendors for that month.
    • Flyer will not be published in November.
    • Ad must be submitted by the first of the month.
    • The flyer will be published on the 15th of the month 
  • In Person Workshop at the Conference ($150)  - One (50 minute) in person workshop at the conference in a classroom space ($150) Workshop will be promoted in our conference booklet schedule with all workshops.
